Seasonal herbal tea sets

From the rugged coastline to the feet of the Alps, the four seasons in the south of France burst with flavour and colours. In spring, the temperatures become milder and the first trees blossom with flowers, including almond trees, cherry trees and olive trees. This is when ingredients such as verbena are harvested. In the summer, the delicate tones make way for an explosion of colour and flavour. This is when the 'blue gold' of Provence - wich is how lavender is described locally - blossoms throughout the fields of the region. Summertime is also when the silky, red petals of poppies adorn the fields, reminiscent of the works of Monnet. Summertime is also the time when lemons and oranges provide a wealth of flavour and when many wild flowers and herbs used for tea making are picked. Autumn brings another selection of flavours, with chestnuts, aromatic tree barks, dried fruits, such as apricots and lemons, and herbs such as thyme. The flavour palette of our teas changes once again in winter, with Christmas as the key celebration of the season and an opportunity to spend evenings with the loved ones, of course over a good cup of tea. This is the time where we celebrate teas that help us stay warm and cosy. The ingredients include herbes such as rosemary, hawthorn, pine buds and sage, but also hints of spices such as black teas infused with cinnamon, cardamon, liquorice, ginger and cloves. The best bit is that all of these teas can be drunk with honey.

Our seasonal herbal tea sets celebrate the flavours of Provance by bringing you a selection of seasonally available infusions. Each year we bring you a different selection of teas representing each season. This is our opportunity to bring to you the more unique flavours, often crafted with ingredients which have a limited, seasonal availability. Enjoy!
